It is with a feeling of great sadness that we have to report the death of Fred Batten.
He was a long serving member of our club and an enthusiastic bowler who supported us in any way he could.
Fred had been a stalwart member of the bowls club for many years, he helped the green keeping team on a weekly basis, and will be missed by all his fellow bowlers.
Rest in Peace, Fred.
